DEYAN PAVLOV

Education: Secondary Music School-Sofia/theory, trumpet, singing/-1980;Musical Academy-Sofia/choral- oratorial and opera- symphony conducting/ -1988. His teachers were professors: Georgi Robev, Vassil Kazandjiev, Ivan Vulpe, and Boris Hintchev. For the time of his studies he was awarded with Special Conducting Scholarship and Golden Badge.

Qualificationes: International Master Conducting Classes of prof.Karl Osterriher /1986,1988/,prof.Heinz Roegner/1989,1990/ and prof. Ilia Mussin/1991/.

Positiones: Conductor at the State Philharmony and Opera House-town of Rousse;Head Conductor at the Symphony Orchestra and Musical Theatre-town of Pazardjik; Conductor at the Plovciv State Philharmony and Plovdiv Opera House;Musical Director of International

Music Festival "Winter Music Days"; Head Conductor at the Youth Philharmony"- Sofia".

Activities: Deyan Pavlov has concerted in Germany, England,Greece, Canada.In 1992 he has given performances with "Opera Lyric de Europa" in France and Portugal with "La Traviata","Madam Buterfly" and "Tosca". Since 1995 he is annually invited for Christmas and New Years Concerts in whole Spain.He has given performances of "Rigoletto","Trovatore" and "Carmina Burana" in Madrid, Barselona, La Coruna, Pamplona.He was assistant conductor in National Opera House for the premiers of "Die Entfurung aus dem Sarai" by Mozart and "Candide"by L.Bernstain.

Teaching experience: Since 2001 Deyan Pavlov is a teacher of Conducting in National Music School-Sofia, regularly he leads Master Conductor's Classes and Didactic Concerts with young foreigner conductors and singers ;he is also teacher-conductor at the Instrumental Department of Musical Academy-Sofia.
