Trionfo in Giappone dell’Aida prodotta dallo Sferisterio Opera Festival di Macerata nel 2006 con la regia le scene e i costumi di Massimo Gasparon, in programma nel più prestigioso teatro giapponese, il Bunka Kaikan di Tokyo, da mercoledì 28 ottobre. La tournée iniziata il 23 ottobre scorso tocca 15 città giapponesi con 18 recite in 15 città diverse.


La sera del 28 ottobre a Tokyo andrà in scena la quinta recita della tournèe dell’Opera di Stato di Praga e dell’allestimento di Aida dello Sferisterio Opera Festival 2006, regia scene e costumi di Massimo Gasparon. Dopo avere debuttato in Giappone il 23 ottobre scorso, saranno date 4 recite nello storico teatro Bunka Kaikan di Tokyo, il più prestigioso teatro d’opera giapponese che ha visto esibirsi tutti i grandi nomi della lirica mondiale. La tournée iniziata il 23 ottobre scorso tocca 15 città giapponesi con 18 recite: Tokyo, Fuchu, Omyia, Yokosuka, Musashino, Toyama, Ina, Sasebo, Nagoya, Osaka, Kobe, Mito, Obihiro, Sapporo e Nerima.
Il cast di Aida comprende Michelle Crider, Mario Malagnini e Jolana Fogasova oltre al coro, al corpo di ballo ed all’orchestra dell’opera di Praga. La direzione è affidata ad una emergente ma già famosa direttrice d’orchestra giapponese, Tanomi Nishimoto.
Verranno date altre 13 recite in tutto il Giappone, con un grande seguito di critica e di pubblico. Registrato già il tutto esaurito nelle quattro recite precedenti, si prospetta un grande evento, alla stregua della recente tournée del Teatro alla Scala proprio con il titolo di Aida.
Sono stati tributati allo spettacolo più di venti minuti di applausi in ogni recita e lo spettacolo di Macerata, approntato per l’occasione in una forma più snella pur conservando tutte le caratteristiche della versione originale, ha incuriosito ed interessato il pubblico e la critica giapponese, poiché è stato integralmente tradotto anche il saggio sulla concezione iniziatica dello spettacolo, decisamente una novità per il panorama lirico giapponese.
Tra gli altri artisti impegnati (più di 3 cast diversi) nella tournèe figurano anche Dimitra Theodossiou, che ha appena debuttato il ruolo a Firenze e che si prospetta come una della prossime grandi interpreti del ruolo di Aida, e Anda Louise Bogza, soprano che ha cantato Tosca all’Arena di Verona nel 2009 e già con Zubin Metha al Maggio Musicale Fiorentino.
Dopo Turandot, Aida e Tosca in Corea, la presenza dello Sferisterio Opera Festival in Oriente comincia la sua avventura giapponese e certamente sarà l’inizio di prospettive entusiasmanti, sulla scia di Padre Matteo Ricci cui sarà dedicata la Stagione 2010 dello Sferisterio, e che avrà un’anteprima a partire da giovedì 29 ottobre con una mostra dedicata al gesuita maceratese, nel Braccio di Carlo Magno in Vaticano a Roma, allestita da Pier Luigi Pizzi.

One thousand fans and supporters gathered at Green Acres Estate for the festival-like atmosphere highlighted by a Vert Demo that featured a Who's Who of X Games, including Hawk, Bucky Lasek, Andy Macdonald, Pierre-Luc Gagnon, Simon Tabron, Coco Zurita, Lincoln Ueda, and Kevin Staab. The event raised over $775,000, including $43,500 for the Watts Towers skatepark.

Da venerdì 16 ottobre a domenica 18 ottobre si apre la campagna abbonamenti alla biglietteria del Teatro Toniolo (con orario 11.00- 12.30 e 17.00 – 19.30).

Il 23, 24 e 25 ottobre si svolgerà a Milano, presso il Castello Sforzesco (Piazza Cannone), la 10^ edizione del SAMAIN - Capodanno Celtico, evento realizzato grazie al patrocinio e al contributo dell’ Assessorato al Turismo, Marketing Territoriale, Identità del Comune di Milano, Provincia di Milano e Regione Lombardia.

L’edizione 2009 della manifestazione, entrata ormai a pieno titolo nel circuito dei grandi festival celtici europei, avvolgerà per tre giorni il parco del Castello in un’atmosfera magica con ricostruzioni e rievocazioni storiche, musiche tradizionali, balli, suggestioni e sapori antichi per ricordare le origini celtiche della città.

Il programma della manifestazione prevede un intenso calendario d’iniziative culturali per far rivivere ai milanesi le antiche tradizioni celtiche. Nel corso delle tre giornate si alterneranno laboratori, stage per bambini e adulti sui mestieri di un tempo, esposizioni di artigianato in un percorso tra antichi accampamenti, danze, battaglie.
