Australia's Barnbougle Dunes Selects Solution Suite from Agilysys
World-Famous Golf Resort Implements Property Management, Point-of-Sale, Golf Management Systems

(NASDAQ:AGYS), a leading provider of innovative information technology and hospitality software solutions, has announced that Barnbougle Dunes in Bridport, Tasmania has selected the Visual One software suite by Agilysys to streamline operations and enhance guest service at the world-famous golf resort. The property is also using GolfPro by Agilysys to manage its pro shop.

The Visual One(TM) Property Management System is a comprehensive property management solution that offers a wide range of features and functionality, including front office operations, guest history, housekeeping, reservations management and more. Its user-friendly screens are laid out in a logical, easy-to-use format with quick-feature icons and drag-and-drop capabilities. The solution, which runs on a Microsoft SQL Server database, has modules for accounting, club management, comp accounting, condo accounting, guest marketing and sales and catering.
Barnbougle Dunes uses the Visual One Retail POS in its pro shop to manage sales and inventory, create purchase orders and calculate discounts. It gives users the option to post golf charges to a guest's room or settle by cash, check or credit card. The property also uses the Visual One POS solution to manage its restaurant and bar operations.
GolfPro by Agilysys enables total management of golf course operations, including tee time scheduling, member billing and tournament management. GolfPro integrates seamlessly with the Visual One Property Management System so that staff can easily book tee times during the room reservation process. Cancellation of room reservations prompts staff to either keep or cancel reserved tee times, so that golf course availability is updated instantly.

Barnbougle Dunes is located on more than 200 acres of coastal dunes in the seaside village of Bridport in Tasmania. Its golf course, ranked Australia's top public course and one of the best links courses in the world, was designed by famed golf architects Tom Doak and Michael Clayton. The property includes beach cottage accommodations, conference facilities, a fine dining restaurant and lounge. In 2010, Barnbougle will add another golf course, 50 guest rooms, sports bar and spa.
