Laura Trent
“GoodBye”

Questa le dieci tracce che compongono l’album: “Wish me well”, Shame on you”, “Goodbye”, “Birdsfly”, “1life2live”, “Sticks & stones”, “I Will be there”, “In the name of love”, “Tears of joy”, “I’m here to stay”.

Reggie Jackson To Host Exclusive Weekly Series, "October Nights," On SIRIUS XM Radio

Hall of Fame slugger will host the show Tuesdays through the end of the World Series on SIRIUS XM's Mad Dog Radio channel

NEW YORK, Sept. 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SIRIUS XM Radio (NASDAQ: SIRI) announced today that Mr. October, Hall of Fame slugger Reggie Jackson, will host a new weekly series exclusively on SIRIUS XM Radio.

(Logo: http://www.newscom.com/cgi-bin/prnh/20080819/NYTU044LOGO )

Starting Tuesday, October 6, Jackson and co-host Bill Pidto will host October Nights, a six week series of talk shows running through the 2009 MLB postseason. October Nights will air Tuesdays (7:00 - 9:00 pm ET) on SIRIUS XM's Mad Dog Radio channel, available nationwide on SIRIUS channel 123 and XM channel 144.

Jackson and Pidto will take calls from listeners around the country and offer an expert look at the playoff picture in the American and National leagues. Jackson, one of the most clutch playoff performers of all time, will talk about his own experiences in the postseason and will offer listeners a consummate perspective on the Fall Classic and everything leading up to it - the atmosphere, the pressure, and the feeling of winning or losing the title.

"There's nothing else like October baseball," said Jackson. "Everything and everyone jumps up a notch - the competition, the fans, the intensity of every pitch. I was fortunate to be a part of it many times in my career and I'm looking forward to talking directly to the fans about my experiences. There's no better place to do that than on SIRIUS XM, where we'll have a national audience and the freedom to talk about anything and everything from around the Major Leagues. This is shaping up to be a terrific postseason with plenty of storylines and I'm excited to get started."

Reggie Jackson is one of the most dynamic postseason performers in baseball history. He played for 11 division champions, six pennant winners and five World Series champions. Nicknamed Mr. October for his clutch playoff hitting, he helped win three consecutive World Series titles with the Oakland Athletics in the early 1970s and two World Series with the New York Yankees in 1977 and 1978. His crowning achievement was his World Series performance against the L.A. Dodgers in 1977 in which Jackson hit a record five home runs - including his legendary three-home run feat in Game 6 - and knocked in eight RBI. He finished the series with a .450 average and 1.250 slugging percentage and was named the MVP.

Jackson finished his career with 563 home runs and 14 All-Star appearances and was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1993. That same year, Jackson's #44 was retired by the Yankees. In 2004, the Oakland Athletics retired the #9 he wore for their franchise. He is one of only eight Major Leaguers to have their number retired by more than one team. Jackson is now a special adviser for the Yankees and serves as a consultant and liaison to the team's players.

Outdoor's 10 Best - Fridays at 10:00 p.m. ET, Saturdays at 2:00 p.m. & Sundays at 6:30 p.m.

What are the top 10 duck hunter's dream hunts? Where are the 10 best elk destinations in the country? What animals make up the deadliest hunts ever?

For decades, outdoorsmen have been hotly debating questions like these in base camps and trophy rooms around the world. "Outdoor's 10 Best" will provide the answers in an exciting and fast-paced documentary countdown format from number 10 all the way down to number one. Utilizing one of the largest collections of HD outdoor footage in the industry and expert opinions from the country's best outfitters and adventurers, the program promises to be destination television for Outdoor Channel viewers.

Trophy Quest - Saturdays at 10:30 p.m. ET

Avid outdoorsman and host John Wilson of Trophy Quest International has decided to harvest every North American big game species with one single gun: a gun from his childhood. John will turn back the hands of time and revert back to the very first rifle his father gave him; an open sighted, lever action .30-30. Follow John through several "Trophy Quest" episodes as he begins his quest of the North American 29 - the 29 animals that comprise Safari Club International's famous North American Grand Slam, including Alaska-Yukon caribou, American bison, Central Canada caribou, Coastal or Continental black bear, Columbia black-tailed deer, desert mule deer and Rocky Mountain or California bighorn sheep.

NEI Partners with NHL's Washington Capitals to Promote Nuclear Energy's Clean-Air Value

WASHINGTON, Sept. 30 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- To increase awareness of nuclear energy's role in clean-air electricity generation, the Nuclear Energy Institute has entered into its first- ever partnership with the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League. As an official energy partner of the Capitals, NEI is teaming up with the team to promote the clean-air benefits of nuclear energy to sports fans via multiple media, including signage at the Capitals' home arena, the Verizon Center, in print and radio ads, and on the Caps' and NEI's Web sites.

(Photo: http://www.newscom.com/cgi-bin/prnh/20090930/DC84502)

Hockey and climate change may seem unrelated, but a rising concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere is, many believe, creating changes in the climate--changes that are having an impact on hockey. From Vancouver to Vermont, Stockholm to Moscow, the ponds and lakes on which many hockey players hone their skills are freezing later in the year and melting sooner.

"Nuclear energy is an important part of a technology-based solution to climate change," said Capitals majority owner Ted Leonsis. "It's a proven energy provider in Virginia and Maryland for Capitals' fans. We are pleased to work with NEI to raise awareness of the role that it can play in reducing greenhouses gases across America."

The Washington region has long benefitted from nuclear energy's clean, reliable electricity generation: Nuclear power plants do not emit greenhouse gases or other controlled air pollutants while generating electricity. For local Caps' fans, 85 percent of the clean electricity produced in Maryland comes from the Calvert Cliffs nuclear plant located 45 miles from Verizon Center. In Virginia, nuclear energy produces 91 percent of the state's emission-free power.

Additionally, Baltimore-based Constellation Energy and Richmond-based Dominion Power are among energy companies that have filed permits with the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission to build new nuclear energy facilities.

"The Capitals' success here in Washington provides a terrific branding opportunity for the industry as Congress and the Obama administration tackle important energy and environmental issues, all of which will benefit from America's investment in nuclear energy," said Scott Peterson, NEI's vice president of communications.

Nuclear energy is the largest generator of clean-air electricity with 104 reactors in 31 states generating 20 percent of all electricity and 72 percent of electricity produced from sources that do not produce greenhouse gases. For many U.S. energy companies, nuclear energy is a vital part of a clean energy production portfolio that also includes wind, solar and hydroelectric power.

Like the energy sector, NHL players are increasingly serious about climate change. The NHL Players Association has helped its membership calculate their total carbon emissions for the regular season. Hockey players are uniquely qualified to comment on the demonstrable effects of climate change.

"A rite of winter passage among generations of hockey players--playing and falling in love with the game out on frozen ponds and lakes--has been curtailed as warmer winters in recent years have meant less access to skating recreation," Peterson noted. "A lot of people associated with hockey believe this is due to climate change."

Capitals' fans this hockey season will see NEI's "Nuclear: Clean Air Energy" message prominently displayed near the goal both at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C., as well at the team's training facility, Kettler Capitals Iceplex, in Arlington, Va. NEI also will air 30-second radio commercials during coverage of all 82 games on local radio WFED 1500 AM. NEI also will have video and display ads on the Capitals' Web site and full-page advertisements in the game programs.

All season long, NEI will provide updated information on nuclear energy's role in moving America to a more climate-friendly energy portfolio for Washington Capitals fans at http://nei.org/caps. To view partnership-related photographs, including shots of the Capitals in action, throughout the season, see NEI's Flickr account at http://www.flickr.com/photos/_nei/.

Photos: Chicago Olympic 2016 Dream: Let There Be Light . . . I Have A Dream of Olympic Lights

"Help keep the dream in lighting the world." Talk about a bright idea inside of an idea. A Hospitality/Doorman in Chicago has become the Leonardo Da Vinci of light bulbs. 51-year-old Raymond Guyton is holding up the light. He has created a line of customized 3-5 watt novelty legacy light bulb designs. Each bulb has a profound personal message and creates its own inspirational story. Talk about going green. Although the 3-5 watt light bulb is very low in wattage, the internal inspirational message is huge! Mr. Guyton, an African-American, will be featured October 1 on the cover of Skoop Magazine. It is a trendy new magazine available exclusively on mobile devices such as iPhone, BlackBerry, Android, and the new Palm Pre. News updates on the hottest new companies, technologies, entertainment, trends, happenings, and events that on-the-go readers crave.

CHICAGO, Sept. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Mr. Guyton's hope is that his invention of novelty light bulbs will soon be lighting homes across America. One light bulb illuminates and gives off light while the filament inside is shaped to form 'Chicago 2016.' For thirteen years he has been on a personal marathon race to license or sell this dream.

Other bulbs include different messages: 'I have a dream,' 'USA' with an American flag, and the most popular is the Crucifixion Cross - just to name a few. Guyton says he came up with the idea while manning the door at an Atlanta hotel just before the 1996 Olympics when, just like a comic book, a light bulb popped up over his head. Now he has an entire line of bulbs. Inventor Raymond Guyton is holding up the light with his new 3-5 watt novelty legacy inspirational light bulbs. It will be featured on Times Square's Digital Bulletin Board in New York City on Wednesday, September 30.

His company is Hold Up The Light. His company's motto is "Products that shine the light on the world." Just like the Statue of Liberty and the symbol of her uplifted arms reads a message of welcome, so also does Hold Up The Light II's logo with a hand holding a bulb sends a message of light leading all to Mr. Guyton's products.

The goal of the Millennium Light Source Project, especially from October 1 through April 4, is to raise funds to help build the memorial to Dr. Martin Luther King in Washington DC. The first step toward this goal, Mr. Guyton is looking for people to visit his website and order his products. He needs $15,000.00 to get the I Have A Dream bulb and his newest bulbs packaged and ready to go to market.

Raymond Guyton says, "I am but one voice - I believe that the Olympics will not only be good for Chicago but will be a light of hope for America and that it will encourage other entrepreneurs to come forward and breathe life and light into their own dreams." Another one of his dreams is to work with companies, other entrepreneurs, and inventors to help the world go green by 2016.

In Mr. Guyton's words "The power of change begins in you." For more information or to support the Millennium Light Source Project, please visit the website www.holdupthelight.com or call 773-559-0075.

Burton Reduces Server Costs Over 80 Percent by Migrating From UNIX to SUSE Linux Enterprise Server

Burton Reduces Server Costs Over 80 Percent by Migrating From UNIX to SUSE Linux Enterprise Server

Boardsports leader solves downtime issues, touts smooth migration to Novell platform

WALTHAM, Mass., Sept. 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Novell today announced The Burton Corporation, the world's leading manufacturer of snowboards, moved its mission-critical applications from UNIX* to SUSE® Linux Enterprise Server from Novell to improve system uptime and reduce overall server-related costs by 80 percent.

Burton migrated to SUSE Linux Enterprise Server in 2008. Burton's previous operating platform had experienced frequent downtime, putting a strain on all aspects of the business. After determining a UNIX upgrade would be cost-prohibitive, the company chose SUSE Linux Enterprise Server as a stable, reliable platform for its SAP- and Oracle-based IT environments.

"It was important for us to have a SAP-certified Linux platform, which was one of the compelling factors that led us to choose SUSE Linux Enterprise Server," said Bill York, senior Linux administrator at Burton. "While snowboarders are not averse to risk, as a business, we can't afford to take risks when it comes to our business-critical systems that need to be available at all times. Since moving to SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, our uptime has been insane."

Burton migrated all of its mission-critical systems to Dell* servers running SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, including SAP* ERP, Business Intelligence, CRM, Enterprise Portal, as well as its Oracle* applications. The company plans to use the built-in Xen* virtualization to reduce its number of physical servers and adapt quickly to changing workloads. The ability to quickly deploy virtual servers will greatly improve the IT staff's ability to add new applications as needed. Virtual servers will also help the team create better development and testing environments on existing hardware.

"The migration went even more smoothly than we expected," York said. "We had very few implementation issues. Our entire IT staff made a smooth transition from our UNIX environment, with no need for additional training. SUSE Linux Enterprise Server is so much simpler to administer through YaST®, and we can now easily keep pace with new security enhancements."

By moving from HP-UX* and proprietary hardware to SUSE Linux Enterprise Server running on commodity hardware, Burton has greatly reduced its server-related costs which it can now re-invest in other parts of the business. The ability to leverage open source applications is helping the company to further reduce software costs.

Moving its mission-critical SAP and Oracle environments to SUSE Linux Enterprise Server has helped Burton reduce overall server-related costs by over 80 percent compared to its previous proprietary solution. The ability to use commodity servers has not only significantly reduced the company's hardware costs, but also reduced its power consumption by 30 percent.

In addition, SUSE Linux Enterprise Server has helped the global company reduce administrative time and costs by 40 percent. Simplified administration and consistent uptime has also lowered the time spent supporting users by 25 percent. While downtime was common with Burton's previous ERP environment, the new implementation consistently hits the company's goal of 99.999 percent uptime.

"Organizations in the consumer products industry need efficient, responsive, cost-effective IT systems to keep them on the cutting edge in competitive markets," said Justin Steinman, vice president of Solution and Product Marketing at Novell. "SUSE Linux Enterprise Server gives organizations such as Burton a robust platform they can rely on to operate at peak efficiency at all times and scale to their changing business needs."

Proprio come una volta.

International Motorsports Center to House the Corporate Headquarters of ISC, NASCAR and Grand-Am

International Motorsports Center to House the Corporate Headquarters of ISC, NASCAR and Grand-Am

Bold New Building Identity Solidifies Daytona Beach as the 'World Center of Racing'

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., Sept. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- For over 50 years, Daytona Beach has been the mecca of motorsports racing due to the vision of "Big" Bill France. Where there was nothing but open fields and saw grass, he envisioned huge crowds cheering the fastest cars and drivers racing at a spectacular world-class facility. Through the France Family's hard work, the 'Great American Race,' the Daytona 500, put Daytona Beach on the global sports map.

Officially introduced today as the International Motorsports Center, the eight-story headquarters building under construction directly across from Daytona International Speedway, is designed to carry on the great heritage of motorsports that is synonymous with the France Family and Daytona Beach. The International Motorsports Center, scheduled to be completed in late 2009, will serve as the world headquarters for International Speedway Corporation ("ISC"), NASCAR and Grand-Am Racing Association ("Grand-Am").

"I am proud of the legacy started by my grandfather and I share in his vision of making Daytona Beach the motorsports capital of the world," stated ISC CEO and NASCAR Vice Chairwoman, Lesa France Kennedy. "Building the International Motorsports Center ensures that the companies at the forefront of global motorsports will stay in Daytona Beach for the foreseeable future."

Ms. France Kennedy continued, "In addition to the incredible archive of motorsports memorabilia that will be displayed throughout the building is the collective knowledge and expertise that will be working at the International Motorsports Center. No single location in the country will have the significant resources we will have in Daytona Beach. I am sure we will grow motorsports to new heights."

The International Motorsports Center was designed inside and out to showcase motorsports. The shape of the building is curved to represent the tri-oval of Daytona International Speedway. The columns represent the rhythm of lights that circle the track. The awning on top of the building was designed to resemble the profile of an aerodynamic spoiler. The overall look of the building has the appearance of motion. "Equally important to the exterior look of the building was the need for the interior to display not only a historical context of motorsports but also the elements that we are accustomed to seeing in the sport today," added Ms. France Kennedy.

From an environmental standpoint, the International Motorsports Center will be the cornerstone of ISC, NASCAR and Grand-Am's commitment to a healthy environment. It is anticipated that the headquarters building will be LEED certified (Leadership in Energy and Environment Design) by the U.S. Green Building Council, a nonprofit advocacy group that issues LEED ratings and certifications.

"The decision to develop a 'Green' building is an investment in capital, environmental and human assets," stated Ms. France Kennedy. "Our headquarters building will use 15 to 20 percent less energy than a traditional office building of the same size. The windows, with their special coatings, will transmit about 75 percent less heat compared to clear glass. In addition, the headquarters building will be composed of materials with 10 to 20 percent recycled content as well as with materials that are produced or grown regionally. Lastly, an open work plan design will bring exterior views to 90 percent of employee work spaces."

Menard, Crafton and Gordon Make a Quick Pit Stop to Learn More About
Lighting From SYLVANIA

LOUDON, N.H., Sept. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- NASCAR Driver Paul Menard
admires the new 2010 Ford Mustang, while helping kick off the race
weekend Friday night in the SYLVANIA hospitality tent at New Hampshire
Motor Speedway. The 2010 Ford Mustang, provided by AutoFair Ford in
Manchester, NH, showcases a story about lighting innovation.

America's pony car includes innovative lighting from front to back
including the unique sequential rear turn signal powered by OSRAM
JOULE(TM) standardized automotive LED system and the sophisticated
color-changing OSRAM LED interior system MyColor. LED technology was
chosen because the light source is durable, versatile and of course,
energy efficient. In fact, LEDs can generate the same amount of light
as incandescent bulbs using 85 percent less energy in head, tail and
signal lighting applications. For instance, the 2010 Ford Mustang LED
tail lamps use 87 percent less electricity than the incandescent
counterparts. That's an annual savings of 10.5 gallons of gasoline
and 205 fewer pounds of CO2 emitted into the atmosphere.

LED technology offers endless design opportunities for car and
motorcycle makers today. With OSRAM LED systems, like the MyColor
system, the auto manufacturers can develop a differentiated appearance
for their vehicles.

Drivers Robby Gordon and Matt Crafton joined Menard at the tent to get
enlightened on some of the newest innovations from SYLVANIA. The
drivers were exposed to all types of SYLVANIA lighting products that
will help them to save energy, save money and help save the
environment.

Come Sunday, Menard will be behind the wheel of the SYLVANIA- DOT it
covered No. 98 Ford Fusion and his fellow competitor Gordon will take
to the track in the SYLVANIA blue and orange painted No. 7 Toyota
Camry. Additionally, Matt Crafton will be driving the No. 88 SYLVANIA
Chevrolet Silverado in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race on
Sept. 19th. Crafton remains in a heated battle for the NASCAR Camping
World Truck Series Championship.

ARRIVA IL NUOVO DISCO DI PAOLA TURCI

PAOLA TURCI

On the Road Music Factory, 2004).

PSE&G Children's Specialized Hospital and New York Giants Team Up to Offer Text to Donate Campaign

NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J., Sept. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- New Jersey: Fans at the New York Giants vs. Washington Redskins game this Sunday, September 13, will be encouraged to join the team in a new fight: supporting PSE&G Children's Specialized Hospital, an inpatient rehabilitation hospital for children recovering from accidents, illnesses, premature birth, and life-changing conditions.

Through an innovative mobile giving program, fans can use their cellular phone, text the word "Giants" to 90999, to send a $5.00 donation to help children and families at the hospital. This is the second time the New York Giants have dedicated a game solely to PSE&G Children's Specialized Hospital.

"This is a terrific opportunity to spread the message of our hospital and raise money," said Philip Salerno III, president and chief development officer of Children's Specialized Hospital Foundation. "We're grateful for our partnership with PSE&G, and now the New York Giants. By teaming up, these organizations have shown their tremendous commitment to kids and families in our communities."

The game also marks the organization's Alumni Day, a homecoming for former players. New York Giants Alumni visited patients at the hospital's New Brunswick facility on September 8 in anticipation of the event. Alumni signed autographs, toured the hospital, and met children living at the hospital during their intensive rehabilitation therapy.

Patients from the hospital will participate in Sunday's match up as well. PSE&G Children's Specialized Hospital patient Tajzir Wilson , will join PSE&G representatives for the coin toss at the start of the game. Members of the hospital's Lightning Wheels athletic team will accompany alumni players out on the field during a special halftime ceremony. Fifty-thousand lucky fans will receive a commemorative rally towel, generously sponsored by SpongeTech.

13-Year-Old Girl from Aflac Cancer Center Designs Carl Edwards' Car for Sunday Race

13-Year-Old Girl from Aflac Cancer Center Designs Carl Edwards' Car for Sunday Race

Carl Pledges to Donate His Portion of Race Winnings to the Aflac Cancer Center

COLUMBUS, Ga., Sept. 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- On September 6th, at Atlanta Motor Speedway, the No. 99 Aflac Ford Fusion will sport a colorful new look inspired by a 13-year-old patient at the Aflac Cancer Center. Aflac invited children at the Aflac Cancer Center and Blood Disorders Service to "Color Carl's Car" for the Labor Day weekend race.

The chosen paint scheme, submitted by Jody Lawrence of Greensboro, Georgia, was selected among 54 other entries as part of Aflac's month-long effort to generate awareness for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. All of the children's drawings will be featured on the pit wall banner for the No. 99 race team. Edwards will wear a matching fire suit and a white helmet signed by children at the Aflac Cancer Center.

People can join the fight against pediatric cancer by donating to the Aflac Cancer Center (ACC) through the Aflac Cancer Center causes page which can be accessed on Facebook.com or at www.aflac.com/aflaccancercenter. Aflac will contribute one dollar for anyone who joins the ACC causes page and will match donations up to $1 million.

Aflac Chairman and CEO Dan Amos kicked off the campaign by making a personal donation of $100,000 and challenged others to contribute to the fight against childhood cancer. Carl Edwards responded to this challenge by announcing on Facebook that he will donate his portion of the winnings from Sunday's race to the Aflac Cancer Center.

Aflac is also engaging NASCAR fans in the fight against childhood cancer through a text donation program which will run throughout the month of September. The NASCAR community can simply text "GoCarl" to 90999 using any carrier, to donate $5 per text, with charges appearing on customers' wireless bill. The NASCAR Foundation will match texted donations up to $10,000.

Childhood cancer is Aflac's primary philanthropic commitment and the number one cause of death by disease for young people under the age of 15. However, due to increased and improved research and treatment, since the 1980s, childhood cancer survival rates have improved from less than 20% to over 80% today.

"This is a wonderful campaign and a great example of how Aflac continues to support childhood cancer treatment and research," said Carl Edwards, driver of the No. 99 Aflac Ford Fusion. "I am proud to be a part of this effort."

"Aflac is combining our passion for fighting childhood cancer with our NASCAR sponsorship of Carl Edwards to raise money and awareness for a great cause," said Paul Amos II, Aflac President and Chief Operating Officer. "By showcasing Jody's compelling story we hope to inspire NASCAR fans to help raise funds and support the research and treatment that takes place everyday at the Aflac Cancer Center."

As an additional program element, Aflac has teamed up with Motorsports Authentics to create a special die cast car, featuring the special paint scheme, which was sold on QVC and is still available online at www.nascarsuperstore.com. As part of the initiative, five percent of all profits from the die cast sales will be donated to the Aflac Cancer Center.

To date, Aflac has contributed more than $50 million to the Aflac Cancer Center. More than 16,000 independent Aflac sales agents contribute more than $225,000 from their commission checks each month. The Aflac Cancer Center treats more than 350 new cancer patients every year and has the largest sickle cell disease program in the country. The center treated 6,503 patients in 2008.

Fans can download images of Carl Edwards and the No. 99 Aflac Ford Fusion on www.AflacRacing.com.

OACIFICO IN CONCERTO A MILANO

PACIFICO l’11 settembre in concerto a Milano per “SongAcross – Canzoni in prestito”
con Manuel Agnelli - Malika Ayane - Samuele Bersani - Giuliano Sangiorgi - Paola Cortellesi Daniele Di Gregorio - Flavio Boltro - Cesare Picco - Ferruccio Spinetti - Gnu Quartet
