prof. PETAR PETROF

[1961] is bulgarian composer. He was born in Stara Zagora, Bulgaria. Studied composition with prof. Alexander Raitchev at the State Academy of Music - Sofia and later specialized with prof. Anatol Vieru, Romania. He is winner of many national and international competitions. Petrof is also accompanist, teacher, conductor and art manager at the "Hristina Morfova" national music school in Stara Zagora, manager of the "Days of Bulgarian Music - Stara Zagora" Festival. He has participated at the "New Bulgarian Music", "Musica Nova", "MusicExchange", "Moscow Autumn" "Musica contemporanea" festivals and the International Composer Tribune-Paris.
